An estimated charge will be displayed or communicated before you confirm the service whenever possible. Additional charges, if applicable, will be explained to you.

Arrival time depends on your location, traffic conditions, weather, service demand and the availability of nearby service partners.

Once a partner has been assigned, you will receive an estimated arrival time and service updates through the Bantu app.

Please provide the correct vehicle details, breakdown location and the contact number of the person waiting with the vehicle. The vehicle owner or authorised driver may need to be present when assistance arrives.

Enter your pickup location in the Bantu app or contact the Bantu Careline to confirm whether assistance is available in your area.

Assistance requests can be submitted through Bantu 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Towing & Roadside Assistance

Help when you need it on the road

Bantu can coordinate towing for common vehicle types, including cars, hatchbacks, sedans, MPVs, SUVs, motorcycles, vans and selected light commercial vehicles. Assistance for heavy, oversized, modified or specialised vehicles depends on the availability of suitable towing equipment. Please provide accurate vehicle details when submitting your request.

In most cases, you may request for your vehicle to be taken to a preferred workshop or another suitable destination. The final destination may depend on towing distance, accessibility, service availability, insurance requirements and additional charges. For insurance claims, the vehicle may need to be taken to an insurer-approved panel workshop.

Battery jump-start assistance may be available in supported areas, subject to the availability of a nearby service partner. The service partner will inspect the situation before attempting a jump-start. If the battery is damaged or can no longer hold a charge, battery replacement or towing may be recommended.

Move to a safe location if possible, switch on your hazard lights and avoid standing close to moving traffic. Keep your phone available and monitor the Bantu app for service updates. Prepare your vehicle keys and relevant documents. If anyone is injured or the location is dangerous, contact the emergency services immediately.

Insurance & Claims

Support with your insurance and claims

Report the incident through the Bantu app or contact the Bantu Careline. Provide the incident details, vehicle information, insurance information, photographs and any other requested documents. Bantu can guide you through the relevant towing, documentation and workshop coordination process. Final claim assessment and approval remain subject to your insurer.

Commonly required documents may include:
· Identification card
· Driving licence
· Vehicle registration or ownership details
· Insurance policy or certificate
· Police report
· Photographs of the accident and vehicle damage
· Completed claim form
· Relevant towing, repair or payment documents
Requirements may vary depending on your insurer and the circumstances of the incident.

The processing time depends on the insurer, complexity of the case, completeness of the documents, vehicle inspection and workshop assessment. Providing accurate information and all required documents promptly can help prevent unnecessary delays. Your insurer or assigned representative will provide updates on the claim status.

Bantu may still assist with towing, roadside coordination and the preparation of relevant supporting information for policies obtained outside Bantu. However, claim procedures, coverage and approval depend on the terms and requirements of your insurance provider. Contact your insurer to confirm the applicable benefits.

Payments

Pricing, payment methods and receipts

The available payment methods will be displayed in the Bantu app or communicated before payment. Options may vary according to the selected service and payment channel. Always make payments through an official Bantu payment method or an authorised service partner.

Cancellation charges depend on the progress of your request. You may not be charged if you cancel before a service partner is assigned or dispatched. A cancellation fee may apply if the partner is already travelling to your location, has arrived or has incurred service-related costs. Any applicable charge will be shown or communicated before cancellation whenever possible.

An electronic receipt will be provided through the Bantu app, registered email address or official payment channel after a successful payment. You may also check your service or payment history in the app. If you cannot locate the receipt, contact the Bantu Careline with your service reference number.

You do not need a membership or subscription to submit a standard assistance request. If optional membership or subscription plans are available, their fees, benefits, eligibility and coverage will be displayed in the Bantu app or on the official Bantu website.
